The world of operating hiking tours has certainly changed over the years! Many years ago, a high end hike was when the guide carried the food for you. These days, it’s becoming more common for high end hikes to be similar to 5 star luxury with a chef in the wilderness.

With gear becoming cheaper, trails becoming more accessible and safer for the public hiker, we have started to focus more on providing ‘pack free’ hiking experiences and partnering with other businesses to provide 5 star luxury where possible.

Comfort Hikes

Our Comfort Hikes are designed to ensure your walking experience is as lightweight as possible and your meals and sleep are as comfortable as possible.

All you need when you’re walking is a backpack to carry your water, lunch, rain jacket and any other bits that you want to take with you on the walk.

Pack a small bag with all the bits and pieces that you might want at camp and we will make sure it’s waiting for you when you get there. When we say ‘camp’ we mean it.

We will set up a king size swag just for you. If you haven’t used one of these kinds of swags before, they are like luxury in the bush, especially for someone who is used to tents and blow up mattresses. Pillows, 50cm foam mattress, room to stretch out in your sleep, plenty of head room to sit up, keep the flaps open to look at the stars on a clear night!

A hearty meal will be prepared by us with fresh ingredients accompanied by cold or warm drinks, depending on the season and your desires.

Premium Hikes

We and our business partners offer our Premium Hikes for those who love luxury, indulgence and potentially a little pampering if you want to throw in a professional massage! The hike portion of this is similar to our Comfort Hikes where you need a small day pack to pack your water, lunch and rain coat as well as anything else you might need. But the accommodation and food…that’s next level.
