THIS TOUR FORMAT IS CHALLENGING. If you want to enjoy yourself a little more, book into the full day Self Guided.

This four hour experience departs from Elanda Point (30 minutes North of Noosa, 300m from Habitat Noosa Campground) and is only for fit, enthusiastic and capable individuals.

Our half day experience is specifically designed for those who can’t commit to a full day on the water and are happy to work hard to see the Upper Everglades.

In this tour you have 4 hours to kayak accross Lake Cootharaba, Fig Tree Lake and as much of the Everglades as possible before having to be back at the launch point by 12.30.

• Depart from the Elanda Point Canoe launch, located within the Great Sandy National Park

• Located within over 150,000 acres of wilderness in the Great Sandy National Park

• Our fibreglass expedition kayaks are the only way you will be able to explore the Noosa Everglades by yourself in half a day, all other vessels are limited in time and accessability.

• Absolute freedom to push out hard and see as much as you can in your half day. No ‘zones’ that you can and can’t go into.

• We provide you with a cooler and a ice brick for your food and dry bag for your belongings

Departing Location: Elanda Point Canoe Launch. 204 Lake Flat Road, Boreen Point QLD 4565. (300m from Habitat Noosa Camp Ground)

What to bring:

• Sun hat 

• Rash vest/T-Shirt

• Board shorts/swimmers

• Towel

• Shoes that can get wet

• Camera (and plastic zip lock bag) 

• Water Bottle

Participant limitations: This experience is not for those who get tired or give up easily.

This will be a challenging 4 hours, no matter who you are.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are not back by 12.30pm, you will be charged an additional $50.

Please note that due to safety issues with kayak cockpit size, we are not able to facilitate this experience for people who are morbidly obese.  We are truly sorry that we have to impose this restriction.
