As this is a fully supported hike with a guide accompanying you the entire way, we are mindful that some people are happy to hike with a full pack (approximately 15kg) for 5 days and some people would prefer to hike with a day pack (3-5kg) for as much time as possilbe. Therefore, we have two tour formats available:

• Discovery: Guided, full pack, tent accomodation, basic but healthy and nutritious food, hikers camp accomodation locations with basic facilities.

• Indulgence: Light packs, nutritious and delicious meals, Accomodation with beds, kitchens, flushing toilets and hot showers where possible.

Luxury in the Wilderness - The ‘indulgence’ package

Adventure Tribe’s Cooloola Great Walk ‘indulgence’ package is designed to provide the highest level of comfort possible in this remote environment. There are no cabins or permanent facilities within the park and Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service regulations prevent operators from introducing new infrastructure.

Despite these restrictions, we’ve worked extraordinarily hard to deliver a sense of wilderness luxury — combining expert preparation, appropriate gear and thoughtful touches to make your experience as easy, comfortable and unforgettable as possible.

With strictly limited group sizes, your journey is personal, immersive and focused entirely on you and your time in the wilderness.
