Outdoor Adventure Noosa
1 massive weekend, more than 8 Adventure activities!
2 days, 2 nights
This activity has no more than 8 people in a tour and we always allocate at least one male and one female leader for the group.
Our biggest and best adventure is only for people who have a good level of fitness. You will be challenged both mentally and physically through our various activities making for an adventure weekend like no other!
Join us Friday afternoon among the rain forest of Outdoor Adventure Australia Home Base for a social meal around an Aussie favorite, the crackling campfire.
The evening will consist of a campfire cooked dinner followed by roasted marshmallows while we all get to know each other.
We will hit the sack pretty early as we get up at the crack of dawn to prepare ourselves for the adventure packed day ahead.
Starts early with a cooked breakfast or some cereal and fruit for those who prefer. When available Outdoor Adventure Australia will provide you with a selection of food from our local area and also from our very own gardens and trees. This will also include bush tucker when in season.
After Breakfast we head to Mt Tinbeerwah where you will spend a couple of hours jumping off and climbing up cliffs whilst attached to ropes. This will get your adrenaline pumping and certainly wake you up. Nothing like jumping off a cliff to start the day!
We calm it down and give the arms a bit of a rest with a hike to the bottom of Mt Tinbeerwah through Eucalypt Forest, when at the bottom of the mountain we jump on some Fat Bikes (e-bikes with big tyres) and ride to the beautiful Noosa River for our kayak launch. We have invested in special pedal powered kayaks to give those Abseil/climbing arms a rest and make traversing the lake a little easier.
Aboard our yaks we will take in the sites of the stunning Noosa River Lakes spotting fish and stingrays along the way without fear of falling in as these kayaks are incredibly stable and safe and most of our trip is across quite shallow water.
Once we arrive on the other side of the Noosa River we are at what’s known as the ‘Noosa North Shore’ where it’s just a short walk to the local pub for lunch on us.
Once our bodies are refueled it’s a short hike for a couple of kilometers along part of the Cooloola Great Walk through coastal wilderness to the Noosa Beach Campground where we spend the night. If time allows, we will head to the beach for games including a bit of beach frisbee, bait catching and fishing before sitting down to enjoy a traditional Australian BBQ dinner.
Sleep should come easily after such a full-on day so feel free to head to bed early in preparation for another big day Sunday.
Brings a fantastic day that is all about the beach. Picked up by 4WD you will head an hour or so along the beach to Double Island Point where you will be able to choose your own adventure with:
1. Surfing lessons
2. Stand Up Paddle boarding (SUP)
3. Ocean kayaking
Depending on the time of the year you will see whales, dolphins, stingrays, manta rays, turtles and much much more.
Lunch is provided before you head back along the beach by 4WD and catch the ferry towards Noosa. From Noosa we get you back to your vehicles at Outdoor Adventure Australia Home Base so you can head off into the sunset while trying to come to terms with what exactly you just undertook. Return home a legend and our mission is achieved.
